Great Enwealthen Anniversary Giveaway 2013

It seems like just yesterday that I decided to share the first steps of my journey to financial independence by starting Enwealthen.  Granted we got off to a slow start, recording my thoughts on wealth building books, seminars, economic news, and personal finance at the blistering pace of one post per quarter – two when I was feeling frisky.

Oh, if only I’d known what I was getting myself into!

It’s been great learning the business side of running a blog – WordPress, analytics, content marketing, social media marketing, and the like.  But I had no idea how much fun it would be to learn about writing, and even more, having the opportunity learn from you – everyone who has read, commented, followed, emailed, tweeted and liked our stuff.

Over the past year I’ve written over 30 articles, read by over 3,000 people in 70 countries around the world.  And it was quite a rush watching the visitors pour in when How to Buy Personal Checks Without Being Robbed (By Your Bank) made it onto reddit.

    • Thanks, Stephanie! I wouldn’t go so far to call it viral, but it certainly was a great surprise to check my stats that day and see so many simultaneous visitors!

Hopefully, just a taste of what’s to come for both of us!

  3. Congrats on your blogiversary…Its never easy, isn’t it…dipping your toes into the blogosphere and realizing its deeper than one imagined, more work to be done and certainly more fun along the way not to mention the lives you have touched or educated over that time.
Cheers! To many more great blogging years :)
